ZOE'S JOURNEY TO BECOMING A LONDON WEDDING FLORIST
Founded by Zoe in 2021, Burton’s Blooms has since established itself as a sought-after London wedding floristry studio. With a background in the legal sector, Zoe’s floristry journey has seen her embark on an array of advanced training courses to further enhance her skillset with flowers, where she now works alongside her team to provide couples with unrivalled floral creativity.
For over a decade, Zoe built a career in the legal industry, starting her first corporate role at the age of 17 after deciding not to take the traditional route of going to university. Those years taught her a lot; hard work, discipline, and resilience. But as much as she valued the experience, she began to realise that something was missing. While she was learning, growing and navigating through her 20's in a new city, she craved more room for creativity and a sense of fulfilment that wasn't being found in her corporate work.
For three years, Zoe juggled both roles of continuing to work her corporate role whilst starting Burton's Blooms from her small shared flat in London. Dedicating every free moment to building the business, by designing for weddings on weekends, and honing her skills, she balanced early morning market trips, late night designing, but all whilst knowing this was a path that would bring her closer to her dream.
In 2024, Zoe made a bold change. She fully stepped away from her established legal career to pursue her passion for floral design in London. Becoming a floral artist has reignited her creative spark. Bringing unique, thoughtful wedding florals to life for couples who value the details feels deeply meaningful and has been more rewarding than she could have ever imagined.
