THE VISION BEHIND THE ART

ZOE'S JOURNEY TO BECOMING A WEDDING FLORIST IN LONDON
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to creativity.
However, I have struggled with the feeling that I wasn’t good enough to turn my passion into something deeply rewarding. I have always loved art, design, and self-expression, but I convinced myself that creativity was just a side interest of mine, not something I could build a life around.
For 12 years, I invested my time into a corporate career path, believing it was the safe and sensible choice for me. But deep down, I knew I wasn’t reaching my full potential. I craved change and alignment. When I found floristry, flowers became my medium, and with them, I discovered a way to create something meaningful, not just for myself, but more importantly for others to enjoy too.
Floral artistry isn’t just about arranging stems; it’s about storytelling, emotion, and creating unforgettable experiences.
Through the creation of Burton’s Blooms 4 years ago, I feel so lucky that I now get the opportunity to channel my creativity into helping couples celebrate their love in the most beautiful way possible. There’s something deeply fulfilling about being chosen to bring a couple’s wedding day vision to life, to design the floral backdrop for one of the most important days of their lives. Every bouquet, every installation, every carefully placed flower is an intentional piece of art created with so much love.
With pouring my heart into each wedding, I’ve found that floral artistry is healing me too. Every couple who trusts me with their wedding flowers reminds me that creativity is valuable, that art matters, and that I am enough.
