ABOUT
ZOE'S JOURNEY TO BECOMING A LONDON WEDDING FLORIST
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to creativity. But for years, I struggled with the feeling that I wasn’t good enough to turn my passion into something real. I always loved art, design, and self-expression, but I convinced myself that creativity was just a side interest, not something I could build a life around.
For 12 years, I followed a corporate career path, believing it was the safe and sensible choice. But deep down, I knew something was missing. I craved something more, something that felt like me. That all changed when I found floristry. Flowers became my medium, and with them, I discovered a way to create something meaningful, not just for myself, but for others. I realised that floral design isn’t just about arranging stems; it’s about storytelling, emotion, and creating unforgettable experiences.
Now, through Burton’s Blooms, I get to channel my creativity into something truly special: helping couples celebrate their love in the most beautiful way possible. There’s something deeply fulfilling about being chosen to bring a couple’s vision to life, to design the floral backdrop for one of the most important days of their lives. Every bouquet, every installation, every carefully placed flower is a piece of art created with love.
And in doing this work, pouring my heart into each wedding, I’ve found that floristry is healing me, too. Every couple who trusts me with their wedding flowers reminds me that creativity is valuable, that art matters, and that I am enough.
If you’re looking for floral design that’s more than just beautiful, something deeply personal, immersive, and unforgettable, I’d love to bring your vision to life. Let’s create something magical together.
